Songwriters…Writers…Lyricists…Wannabe’s

Here’s what I’m looking for…

Lyrics to the next tune I’m gonna produce for another CD of tunes for kids. And I’d like your help getting the words and ideas flowing. If you’ll sign up in the box below, you’ll be eligible to win free MP3’s and even a free CD of the finished tunes.

You can still submit lyrics in the posts on this page without sending me your name and email address, but you won’t be eligible to win any of the free MP3’s or the CD.

I’ll start the tune with a theme and the first line. Then you can start posting suggestions for the second line. Once I’ve picked the next line we’ll move on.

And each person who submitted a line will be eligible for a free MP3 of the new tune when it’s finished. Once we get all the lines finished everyone who participated will be eligible for a free CD of the new tunes for kids…once I get other tunes finished and the whole CD produced, of course.

Here’s the thing, though. I’m only going to let up to 100 people take part. So you’ll have more than a 1 in 100 chance of winning something.

Here are some lyrics from my new friend in Florida…Robin.

She wrote these for her 7 year old grandson Brian. This isn’t actually part of the Ton-O-Fun Tunes songwriting contest, but she was nice enough to share with us, so I wanted to post ‘em.

I’m looking at the stars just imagining my place,
I gotta whole different outlook than the normal human race
I can see the closest galaxy, the entire Milky way
Cause I got the vision of ……..Outer Space Oh yeah ………… Outer space

( some weird , fun music here….)

Yeah I got the music of…outer space
I can see beyond the limits of the ordinary eye
I study all the planets from …Jupiter ….to ..Mars
Anyone else maybe thinking apple pie
But I got the vision of …Outer space Oh yeah…..Outer space
Oh Yeah………Outer space…….Oh yeah…..

Write A New Song And Win Tunes For Kids

Would you like to help write a new song and have a chance to win new tunes for kids?

Well, you’re in the right place…even if you’ve never even thought about being a songwriter.

In a short while I’m gonna start accepting tune ideas and then even lines for the lyrics. There’ll be daily or weekly options, and you’ll be able to leave me your lyric ideas in the comments section. Then, I’ll start posting the winning “line of the day” or “line of the week”. And when we complete the words for the new tune, I’ll compose the new song. Once there’s a certain amount of these I’ll announce the winners of a new CD or individual tune.

As you can see, there’s a change happening with Ton-O-Fun Tunes. This new blog format site isn’t ready to sell anything. But you can still get tunes for kids right here.

The “sister” site www.ton-o-fun-tunes.com is the same, and it’ll be there until this new site is completely ready. You’ll enjoy the new, improved, Ton-O-Fun Tunes 3.0 site.
